Happy Thanksgiving!!

I can honestly say that one of the things that I am thankful for this year is 360 and meeting all of you!

Okay, I’m a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (yes, still, even after it’s been off the air for two years), and this is a pic from one of my favorite episodes:  no one does Thanksgiving quite like Joss Whedon.  Cheers!

  1. And for Buffy aficionados, I do know that Joss Whedon didn’t write that episode from Season Four, Jane Espenson did, but it was his show, and little happened that didn’t get his stamp of approval. I think. Huggs to all and a very happy Thanksgiving, as well.

  2. Have a wonderful day tomorrow Fuzz!
As a matter of fact, lets not limit it to just tomorrow!
    Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope the turkey will perfect ( nice and crisp on the outside,
and lovely and juicy inside). Enjoy

  3. Awww, HUGGS, to all of you!! I hope you all had a marvelous Thanksgiving; it’s late here, and I’m off to bed, but I wanted to let you all know I appreciate your stopping by and wishing me good thoughts and a happy day.

  4. Aww, sorry you’ve been sick, Amber; hope you’re feeling better now!! And lucky you to have turkey day to look forward to, when all I have is a carcass! Huggs.

  5. You know, when I first heard of the show. I scoffed. But, sometime either late in the first season or early in the second, I started watching. It was good, really good! I have all seven seasons on DVD as well as Angel. I love that Joss managed to keep his characters true to their personalities while allowing them to still grow up! 🙂 The Thanksgiving one is also one of my favorites.

  6. It’s weird, LO, but I never really got into Angel, though I’ve seen a lot of eps, I never was a total fan geek about it. Now, Firefly? omg, have you seen that? It’s to die for wonderful. Shame it didn’t take, though, as there are only about 14 eps and one film (that’s better on the second viewing). This ep was perfect to me because it really went for the hypocricy and silliness of being overly politically correct. Hehe, I loved it!!

  7. Yeah. I rented the Firefly episodes from Netflix. I don’t know if I simply wasn’t in the right frame of mind to watch them or what the deal was but I had a tough time getting into it. The characters were likeable enough. Not sure what it was. I may have to wait a while and try it again. Sometimes, I find I just wasn’t in the mood to watch a specific genre. LOL! Yeah, Willow going on about how horrible Thanksgiving was and how wrong truly cracked me up and Spike was also too funny in that one.

  8. Confession time: I must have watched the first twenty mins of ep one of Firefly ten times. No exaggeration. But I just couldn’t click into it (I’m SO not a fan of either sci-fi OR westerns), but then, sometime later, I just decided to stick with it, and it all just fell into place. I focused on the characters and writing (the best things in any Whedon world), and then I just fell in love with it. So much so that I even bought the movie (Serenity)–that’s better the second time, too, btw. Hehe, I’m watching my way through the seasons and JUST watched this one today; it’s hysterical how Spike is in this one, so witty and funny. And Willow, just perfect! Someone had to be the pro-pc view, and she did it wonderfully well. Yay!! Fab ep. 😀

What say you?
