Tea Party Patriot and Former Marine

I just saw this over at No Sheeples Here, and it’s so worth watching and listening to.  This former marine has a gorgeous voice, and the words to this verse of the Star Spangled Banner are so meaningful to us all right now:

Oh! Thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

  1. Fuzzy,

I saw this on The Conservative Lady and the tears flowed!

What an amazing man and Marine!

  2. Second verse, who'd I thunk it? I had no idea and not ashamed to admit my short comings. Thanks for the lesson Fuzzy.

He did a beautiful job of it too. You could see the emotion welling up in him before he started. A very fitting presentation for D-Day June 6, 1944.

What say you?
