What Is the Goal of BO’s Push to "Green" the Whole Country?

“Communism is Soviet Power Plus the Electrification of the Whole Country”
–Vladimir Lenin

What’s going on with this administration’s push for a “green” economy?  Why are they purposefully and purposely ignoring the greatest environmental disaster of our time, letting it get worse and worse while turning away offers of assistance, adding layers of red tape to hamper the process (typical government move there, can’t really blame BO for that, I guess), and focusing not on containment, clean up, or even a back up plan if the vent well doesn’t work . . . you know, in August, with oil continuing to gush out until then?  Yes, there’s Twinkle Toes’ “don’t let a crisis go to waste” mantra that we’re all aware of and disgusted by, but why the insistence on pushing, forcing, a “green economy”?

Why not let that evolve along the same lines of our slow move into using electricity?  Why do we have to do it now, now, now . . . even if that means millions of people out of work, out of careers, and the rest of us all paying by BO’s own admission “exorbitant” costs for everything?  Why, in other words, does the government have to push this on us?  Particularly when it’s pretty clear that the general public, myself included, would like to see cleaner energy?  When auto makers and others are making energy efficient products, researching and developing alternate energy sources?

We have made progress in that direction, and as with all things, once the innovations are refined and made available, the cost will come down naturally, and we will switch over gradually, with limited impact on the economy or on people’s lives and livelihoods.  So why force it?  We already know that AGW was a hoax, a fear-mongering myth made up by globalists and crank ideologues and gobbled up by the naive and gullible.  So this push, this government involvement, makes no sense if you are trying to do what is best and right for the country and its people.  It only makes sense if you are trying to do what is best for the radical leftist agenda, an agenda few support and fewer still would support if they stopped and thought about it.  The government didn’t have to force Americans to stop using whale oil or to start driving cars or to have indoor plumbing and electricity.  These things happened as technology progressed and as people prospered in the greatest nation on earth.

So we look at Van Jones, former “green” czar and disgraced communist, and his assertions about “social justice.”  We see that the goal is not clean energy, not “saving” the planet, but only and solely taking power and wealth from one group and handing it to another because “it’s their turn.”  Or something.  When your motives are so impure, so twisted and unfair, and when you’re willing to drop the “radical pose” for the “radical ends,” nothing you do is good, nothing you do is positive or worthy.  And these people are pushing down our throats a complete overhaul of our economy, of our way of life, of our energy.  You know who else did that?  Lenin.

Electrification was central to his plan to destroy take over Russia, to make it first a socialist and then a communist state (he saw socialism as the path to communism, remember).  Taking over and remaking the economy based on the country’s energy source, fundamentally transforming it into an “electric” society and economy, was Lenin’s path to the “New Russia Socialist Society.”

From Lenin’s notes on electrification (my emphasis):

Significance of Electrification

1. Modern technics.
 2. Restoration of productive forces. Increasing them.
3. Centralisation-maximum.
4. Communism= Soviet power + electrification.

Sound familiar?  How about this:

The following should be added on the basis of the resolution of the Eighth All-Russia Congress of Soviets,
electrification plan,
its economic foundations,
the economic geography of Russia,
significance of and conditions for the plan’s implementation.

And here are Lenin’s notes from the Tenth Congress in which he laid out how they were going to use trade unions, the press, and restructuring of the military / militias to ensure success:

Outline Of A Speech At A Meeting Of Supporters Of The “Platform Of Ten[2]

1) Top strata (bureaucratic) in the Workers’ Opposition ….
2) bottom strata’ actually linked with the rank and file, really proletarian…
3) most resolute ideological struggle against the syndicalist and Makhayev deviation (at the top) of the Workers’ Opposition
4) congress decision condemning in principle the syndicalist, anarchist, Makhayev deviation of the Workers’ Opposition
5) congress decision (by roll-call vote) against leaving any faction or trace of factionalism
6) threat of expulsion from the Party and transference from the C.C. to alternate membership ((by decision of C.C. + Control Commission + all alternate members + two-thirds??))[3]
7) take really proletarian elements into the CC.
8) penetrate ,study, investigate, explore…
9) a number of speakers (at the congress) to put this line through should be elected immediately
10) elect a bureau of the “platform of Ten”…
11) resolution on the report of the C.C. (a) on greater unity and discipline generally, and in the C.C.; (β) on less bureaucratism in the Orgbureau
12) next meeting on the day of (or day after) arrival of the Petrograders (and Zinoviev)
+13) congress decision on press reporting of the Party congress: tone down factional disputes, demonstrate unity.

Footnote [2] above:

The Tenth Congress of the R.C.P.(B.) was held in Moscow on March 8-16, 1921. It was attended, according to the report of the Mandate Commission, by 694 voting delegates and 296 delegates with a voice but no vote, representing 732,521 Party members. The items on the agenda were: 1) Report of the Central Committee; 2) Report of the Control Commission; 3) The trade unions and their role in the country’s economic life; 4) The Socialist Republic in a capitalist encirclement, foreign trade, conces-sions, etc.; 5) Food supply, the surplus-appropriation system, the tax in kind and the fuel crisis; 6) Questions of Party organisation; 7) The Party’s current tasks in the national question; 8) Reorganisation of the army and the militia question; 9) The Chief Committee for Political Education and the Party’s pro- paganda and agitation work; 10) Report of the R . C.P.’s representative in the Comintern and its current tasks; 11) Report of the R.C.P.’s representative in the International Trade Union Council; 12) Elections to the Central Committee, the Control Commission and the Auditing Commission.

The congress passed decisions on cardinal issues pertaining to the country’s political and economic life. The work of the congress was guided by Lenin, who delivered the opening and closing speeches and made reports on the political activities of the C.C., the substitution of a tax in kind for the surplus grain appropriation system, Party unity and the anarcho-syndicalist deviation, the trade unions, and the fuel question. Lenin drafted the major resolutions for the congress. See also present edition, Vol. 32, pp. 165-271.

We all know how that turned out.  Millions upon millions of people eventually slaughtered to achieve the socialist/Marxist-to-communist “dream.”

Grigori Zinoviev, speaking at a meeting of Communists in September 1918, effectively pronounced a death sentence on ten million human beings: “We must carry along with us 90 million out of the 100 million of Soviet Russia’s inhabitants. As for the rest, we have nothing to say to them. They must be annihilated.”

As it turned out, the Soviet toll in human lives and suffering proved to be much higher than Zinoviev’s murderous rhetoric suggested. Rarely, if ever, has a regime taken the lives of so many of its own people.

Citing newly-available Soviet KGB documents, historian Dmitri Volkogonov, head of a special Russian parliamentary commission, recently concluded that “from 1929 to 1952 21.5 million [Soviet] people were repressed. Of these a third were shot, the rest sentenced to imprisonment, where many also died.”

Olga Shatunovskaya, a member of the Soviet Commission of Party Control, and head of a special commission during the 1960s appointed by premier Khrushchev, has similarly concluded: “From January 1, 1935 to June 22, 1941, 19,840,000 enemies of the people were arrested. Of these, seven million were shot in prison, and a majority of the others died in camp.” These figures were also found in the papers of Politburo member Anastas Mikoyan.

Robert Conquest, the distinguished specialist of Soviet history, recently summed up the grim record of Soviet “repression” of it own people:

It is hard to avoid the conclusion that the post-1934 death toll was well over ten million. To this should be added the victims of the 1930-1933 famine, the kulak deportations, and other anti-peasant campaigns, amounting to another ten million plus. The total is thus in the range of what the Russians now refer to as ‘The Twenty Million’.”

A few other scholars have given significantly higher estimates. (source)

Who knows if Lenin thought this all through, understood where his radical ideology would lead, and who knows if BO understands it, even with the evidence of history.  What we need to ask, however, is this:  are we heading in the same direction, for the same reason, with the same goal–not necessarily mass genocide but total centralized control–in mind?  It seems worth pondering.  As does where that total centralized control always leads.  Always.

  1. Damn Fuzzy, that was one powerful post and the really sad part is that it's true… The Marxist-N-Chief that the blundering idiots on the not so far left voted for had no clue as to what this creep was capable of doing… They fell hook, line and sinker for his Hope & Change B.S. and as the bumpersticker says “Sorry Yet”, they are trying to figure out what the hell happened… I keep going back to the old “Twighlight Zone” episode in which the aliens landed tauting their book “How to Serve Man”, only to find that it was a cookbook… Instead of Hope & Change they got Total Transformation… This administration with its' radical communist personel need to be stopped…

  2. History shows that total centralized control=mass genocide. When you look at the the obot National Socialist agenda, and the things they have/ want to take control of, you can only expect the worst from these “people”.

Most folk refuse to believe that the red agenda could not happen here. Those people are the kulaks of our time…

  3. It's distressing that so many people do not see the connection between totalitarian government and mass murder.

Have you seen the footage from the undercover FBI agent who infiltrated the Weather Underground? Ayers and his cohorts planned on exterminating people who could not be re-educated. I think they estimated that this would be 10% of the population.

  4. wow this was all too profound. I agree with with Kristin regarding how complacent people have become and how in this day and age they were duped and voted for this man knowing nothing about him and not trying to find out either.
I didn't know that Ayers had said that.
The republicans better put up a great candidate in 2012. McCain and Palin were a big joke.
Nov 2 is going to be the do or die sort of speak.
I don't put anything passed the tactics of this admin. It will be a most depressing thing if Conservatives don't take back the house and senate.
We better wise up is all I can say.
Thank you Fuzzy for all the time you took to put this insightful and rude awakening post together. We need to keep educating the uneducated.
    This statement also very compelling:
Lenin – Lover of Revolution, Not Friend of Poor

  5. I had not known that part of Soviet history. You are completely correct when you conclude that this has nothing to do with the environment. The entire environmental movement has always been about Marxism. The environmental movement is only the means by which to control the means of production, and redistribute wealth. Of course, when the government is in charge of that redistribution, we will end up with a two tiered society. The “haves” which are government folk, will have the best of everything, and us, who will have nothing.

  6. If this administration purposefully and unnecessarily doubles the cost of energy, they will be guilty of genocide.

And to echo a little bit of Trestin, You sparked the thought in me about how much more dependent people will be if the only power there is – is electricity. Flip a switch and you're screwed. That would assume internal combustion generators were also outlawed, which won't be anytime soon, but anyway.

Absolutely agree this administration very Socialist, Communist, Fascist.

La dee da dee da dee da.
Wonder how long it will take the majority to see it. We know many support this agenda.

  7. Fredd's spin: rather than assign a sinister motive to Obama's agenda, I would posit that he and his fellow dreamers are simply Utopian fools who truly believe they are so much smarter than the rest of us dopes, that we just are too stupid to know that oil is evil.

Accordingly, because Obama and his minions are endowed with superior intellect, they will paternally push for what's good for us (and jam this cod liver crap down our little child-like throats), because we just don't know any better.

They truly want the Utopian best for us, and I would argue that Obama and his ilk have altruistic goals in mind for all of us, and all we have to do is give them time to develop that elusive source of energy that will replace oil: Obama knows that 'Pixie Dust' is the solution, but the dumber-than-a-bag-of-hammers public will have to wait while Obama's thugs, uh I mean administrators…push ahead with the green agenda that will develop the untapped Pixie Dust veins.

These rose colored glasses of mine are great, right Fuzzy?

  8. I understand that Obama had a lot of ideas worked out in advance, which aided his campaign. If GE were to be a pioneering “green” company, they had every reason in the world to help his candidacy and presidency. Isn't NBS and MSNBC under GE? Funny thing about that. Left wing media. SO much money poured into the Obama campaign. And it wasn't all from small donors.

Good news is Americans are getting wise. Even some media dupes. When green is profitable and helpful, it will replace old technology naturally.

  9. @ Born Again American, yeah, sad, isn't it? I have often felt like I was in some sort of strange Twilight Zone episode, what a great way to put it!

@ Toaster, yep, I know. And people don't think it can happen here is very true. Then again, the Germans, Cubans, Chinese, Russians, et al. didn't think it could happen there, either.

@ Kristin, it's the same thing as when Sarah Palin pointed out that death panels would be a necessary part of BOCare, and people were in complete denial (many still are). Government panels will not only be deciding who dies but also who gets care and what kind of care, etc. Cause and effect flies right over most people's heads, particularly those on the left who for some reason STILL don't understand that if you raise the taxes on the rich, we in the middle and lower classes are the ones who will pay via higher cost for goods and services. D'oh!

@ Lisa, Yeah, Ayers was part of a group that discussed the “elimination” of millions of Americans. They are still active, and still think that's a great way to “defeat” capitalism–just kill all the capitalists. Sort of like the Muslims planning to kill everyone who is not Muslim, so that Islam “wins.” Insane.

@ Trestin, okay 🙂 What is that, though? Is it a site of yours? What's the link?

@ Kid, many won't see it until it's too late. That's why it's important that we keep talking about it far and wide. For as long as we can.

@ Fredd, you should market those rose-colored glasses! Oops, BO might have beat you to the punch with his koolaid, though. heh

@ Opus, they don't want it to happen naturally according to free market principles of supply, cost, and demand. That does not fulfill their goal. If their goal was simply to become less dependent on foreign oil, we'd be safely drilling for our own. If their goal was simply to replace fossil fuel with other kinds, we'd be working on R & D and moving in that direction (as I contend we already are).

  10. @ Matt, sorry about that, I must have scrolled past your great comment. 😦 You are right, there is more going on here than meets the eye, and yes, mass and unchecked poverty, starvation, and genocide are always the result of totalitarian government. Remember the Russian bread lines, the lines for toilet paper? While the political class built bigger and bigger mansions and drove around in expensive cars? Any system is “unfair,” but any time the government is in control, the people always suffer extensively. Always.

  11. Thanks, Trestin, I'm a member of that group and didn't even realize it. To be honest, I have no idea how to “manage” all the stuff on FB or on Twitter. I miss a LOT because I only see what is posted when I'm sitting there with it open. There has to be some way to keep up, but I don't know how. I only recently found the Twitter link for tweets that “mention fuzislippers”–before that, I must have seemed horribly rude, but I didn't know anyone was responding. Ugh.

What say you?
